WOMEN'S MINISTRY

Hospitality Committee

“Seek to show hospitality.” Romans 12:13

The purpose of the Hospitality Committee is to welcome guests who are visiting ABBC for the first time. We host a brief reception after morning service, providing refreshments and an opportunity for visitors to engage with Pastor and Mrs. McNeal, one of the deacons and his wife, and a few other friendly members. We also pass out materials containing the gospel message and information about the church.

While some guests have to leave, others choose to stay and learn more about the church. Being a first-time visitor can be a scary experience for some people. Our goal is to help our guests feel the love of God during their visit. We are mindful of Hebrews 12:2 which says, “Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.”

Ladies’ Auxiliary

Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing, but a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised. Give her of the fruit of her hands, and let her own works praise her in the gates. Proverbs 31:30-31

The purpose of the Ladies Auxiliary is to serve the needs of the ABBC church family and facilitate growth and fellowship among its women. We have an established structure with president, vice-president, secretary, and treasurer so that we operate effectively and efficiently. All ladies interested in making a difference in the church are encouraged to participate. Various committees are responsible for the tasks we undertake.
