COMMUNITY OUTREACH MINISTRY

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20

It is said that evangelism is the heartbeat of God. We believe that the Lord has placed us at 1419 Peachcrest Road to make an impact in our community. We employ various activities to meet our neighbors and serve the needs of those around us.

The Easter Celebration offers fun activities for kids of all ages, as well as an opportunity for us to meet members of the community and share the Gospel. The Resurrection Trail, which portrays Jesus’ great sacrifice and victory over sin and death, is a popular feature.

Our Vacation Bible School is held in late June and is an excellent and effective way to educate children about God. We have an exciting theme and activities around the Gospel message and provide a mission project that the kids get involved in.

A Medical Outreach is another way we have made contacts locally. We offered free health screenings and advice for those in need of the services. This ministry emphasized spiritual as well as physical wholeness.

The Fall Festival is a positive and fun alternative to Halloween. The Tribulation Trail has dramatic scenes vividly portraying the seven years of trials and tribulations outlined in the Book of Revelation.

A Youth Mentoring program is a way to develop meaningful relationships with families in our vicinity. We partner with three local elementary schools and provide mentoring and vocational guidance to the students.

Our Soul-winning Team goes door-to-door and distributes Gospel tracts and information about ABBC to households around the church.

Personal Evangelism, speaking individually to friends, neighbors, and co-workers is stressed at ABBC. Above all, we seek the power of the Holy Spirit to work through us.

He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it. 1 Thessalonians 5:24
